Abigail's first Easter was also her first contraction of a virus :(
Abigail snuggled up in her beautiful hexapuff blanket. Compliments to my friend, Chelsea!
Little Miss had a low-grade fever for four days, and broke out into a rash on her abdomen the fifth day (fever also broke on the fifth day). We packed up and headed to Seattle to visit her nurse practitioner.
This is the best way to take a road trip ;)
The diagnosis: Roseola, a very common and fairly mild virus in babies. Abigail was on the up and up almost as soon as her appointment was over! We traveled south to Federal Way to visit G&G Swanson for the Easter weekend.
Bryan's parents treated us to a lovely weekend starting with a family run, strolling through Coulon Park, and eating at 5 Guys. They introduced us to this Bible series on the History Channel which we really enjoyed and recommend to anyone.
Our best family picture yet. Coulon Park (gorgeous views of Lake Washington)
Easter Sunday
Bryan's mom made a delicious lemon chicken for Easter Dinner. Then we headed back to Wenatchee.
Abigail received a couple of cute homemade dresses from her Grandma in Pittsburgh for Valentine's/St. Patrick's/Easter. We took pictures to appease Grandma E. (And, who am I kidding, to appease me too. I just can't get enough of this girl).
May happiness bloom readily for you this spring!
